Category

Student

This category is for undergraduate students from recognized universities. The aim of this category is to develop cyber security expertise among students.

Membership Eligibility

  • The candidate must pass any one of the certifications provided by the Global ACE Certification or has obtained other professional certifications that is recognized by the Global ACE Certification; and
  • The candidate must submit recommendations from two (2) referees (academicians)

Other Requirements

  • One time processing fee of MYR50 (Malaysian) / USD20 (International) (non-returnable); 
  • Free membership fee; and
  • Renewal requires twenty (20) CPD points.

 

 

 

Associate

This category is for certified individuals in cyber security with less than 5 years working experience.

Membership Eligibility

  • The candidate must pass any one of the certifications provided by the Global ACE Certification or has obtained other professional certifications that is recognized by the Global ACE Certification; and
  • The candidate has minimum education qualification is a Degree from recognized universities

Other Requirements

  • One time processing fee of MYR50 (Malaysian) / USD20 (International) (non-returnable); 
  • Membership fee is MYR200 (Malaysian) / USD50.00 (International) annually; and
  • Renewal requires payment of membership fee and twenty (20) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.

 

 

 

Professional

This category is for certified cyber security practitioner with more than 5 years working experience and demonstrated relevant competency and knowledge in cyber security area.

Membership Eligibility

  • The candidate must pass any one of the certifications provided by the Global ACE Certification or has obtained other professional certifications that is recognized by the Global ACE Certification; 
  • The candidate has minimum education qualification is a Degree from recognized universities;
  • The candidate has established his/her credibility and expertise in cyber security and has more than 5 years working experience in this area; and
  • The candidate’s working experience is required to be endorsed by a Global ACE Certification Professional Member in good standing. The endorser attests that the candidate's assertions regarding professional experience are true to the best of him/her knowledge, and that the candidate is in good standing within the cyber security industry.


Other Requirements

  • One time processing fee of MYR50 (Malaysian) / USD20 (International) (non-returnable); 
  • Membership fee is MYR400 (Malaysian) / USD100.00 (International) annually; and
  • Renewal requires payment of membership fee and forty (40) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points with 2 categories:  Twenty (20) CPD in domain specific knowledge; and Twenty (20) CPD in professional development.
